Added to this was copious amounts of paperwork which made it impossible for her to spend the time with the students that she knew they needed. So she started her own business in 2017, and called it K-8 Tutoring and Home School Assistance because she was only certified through 8th grade. Since then the company has grown and more teachers have been included. Today, Teachers as Tutors can tutor students through high school and math through college! Lori is now letting her team of wonderful teachers tutor while she takes care of the business. However, her dream of creating lessons for the individualized student continues in her wonderful staff of teachers.
